A beautiful Mid-Century floral etched sterling brooch with scalloped edges by Burkhardt/Birks of Canada. This hand etched piece is approximately 1 1/2" in length. Marked "sterling" and signed with a B within a hexagon. In fine vintage condition.
During WWII Birks bought Burkhardt sparing them from bankruptcy. The Birks Logo and a B inside of a hexagon were early forms of co-branding.
