Jeph Bilsky Spiral Motion XL Glass sculpture Modern abstract Chicago artist vtg

This is a stunning classic. Jeph bilsky piece that is from an estate sale here in Chicago. The artist is a Chicago artist that passed away in 2013. He made many of these spiral motion pieces. This one does not have a signature or if it did it could have been wiped off it may have also originally come with some kind of Base. They're very hard to find these days. The piece is very heavy and made of solid glass. It is sometimes displayed on its side but is meant to be displayed upright like a ferris wheel.
It stands at a massive 12 and 1/2 in tall. I put a smaller piece of his below to get an idea of how big the piece is. It has bevel edges on each piece of glass and looks stunning with light or colored lights underneath it. Whichever way you look at the piece, every angle shows a different sculpture and it's quite fascinating.
The specific beveled pieces were created sometime between 1973 and 1983. This one I believe is from the '70s. Please contact me with any further questions .
