As-is condition: someone knocked over this lens while I was filming a wedding. Fortunately, none of the glass was scratched or damaged in any way. I paid $685 for a licensed Sony dealer to repair the lens. The dealer claims he has repaired to lens to within specification. I feel that it is a little soft. I just want to make my money back I lost on the repair and save for a different lens. I’m listing this because it still shoots fine on AF within factory spec. I have noticed it occasionally takes a second for the camera system to recognize the lens. Overall, it is not sharp enough for me for wedding films.
