Exquisite Crystal Candlestick.
Incised on the bottom " Val St Lambert", name of the famous crystal factory in Seraing, Belgium.
It is absolutely beautiful and timeless.
The crystal factory was established in what use to be the Abbey of Val St Lambert (last pictures) in 1826.
The location was perfect: the Meuse valley and the highway were close, the buildings were large, and all the raw materials and skilled workers could be found nearby.
