Incredible overcoat in a black and white tweedy wool with faux fur collar (it's so soft!). From Oct. 1, 1957, and how do I know the exact date? Because there is a label on the inside that's very helpfully dated with both the exact date, the owner and what I believe is a salesperson or tailor name as well. It is semi hidden underneath the main Bergdorf Goodman label in the collar so be sure to look for it. It's a treat and a wonderful bit of history! There is also a side label that says Anglo Fabrics, 100% wool. Double breasted, softly swing shaped, big black buttons, high kick pleat in back, and tiny slits at each wrist. Fully Lined. About a large to extra-large I'd say.
Excellent vintage condition. I spotted one pea sized hole and two small thin areas in the fabric, not full holes, just worn. Nothing else worth noting.
Measurements taken lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
