Delicate vintage Japanese porcelain trio featuring a teacup, saucer, and dessert plate. Each piece is hand-painted with a bamboo and bird motif, detailed in green, brown, and gold enamel, with geometric gilt borders.
Inside the teacup, a hidden lithophane portrait of a Geisha is revealed when held to the light — a hallmark of Japanese export porcelain from the early–mid 20th century. Marked “日本” (Japan) on the base.
Excellent vintage condition with light age wear to gilding. A beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship and artistry.
