This is a beautiful necklace featuring what is known as "tumbled" turquoise beads. As you can see from the pictures, this is real stone, real turquoise. It is very heavy and icy to the touch. The color in the bead holes is all turquoise.
The beads are Native American silver, and if I had to guess I would say Navajo, but since it is unsigned and unstamped I have no way of knowing for sure. The clasp was slightly magnetic and I'm not sure if it is original to the necklace. The rest of the silver is real and handmade.
This is a quite old necklace and the robin's egg blue of the color is acquiring a greenish tinge from aging.
A wonderful item that any collector would enjoy.
Strung on cord. Terrific condition. Beads appx 12mm and 6mm.
